After an illustrious career spanning over two decades in the social/ finance/ road transport & highways/ urban/ rural development in various senior level positions, Mr. Lokesh Bahri continue his active service career as Vice President at TRP Social Consultants to pursue his lifetime passion in legal and developmental consultancy sectors.
Mr. Lokesh, aged 50 years, holds a masters degree in Business Management and is an graduate from Delhi University’s. He has worked in Thaper Group (India), National Panasonic (India), Birla Group (Thailand), Indorama Group (Thailand), and CEPRA (India). He has done many trainings on Environment Impact Assessment, Social Impact Assessment and Corporate Social Responsibility and has done many projects on the same.
Mr. Lokesh loves to work on environmental and social issues also meet and work with people from across the section of society. He likes to go deeper into issues and consistently develop his understanding of the reality. He aims to strengthen linkages of academic and programmatic research with the programme planning and implementation in the development sector that ultimately informs the policy process of not only the implementing organizations and donors but also the state and country governments. Mr. Bahri has a rich experience in development sector spanning areas of project design, implementation, documentation, capacity building, research and monitoring & evaluation. He has worked on wide range of thematic areas of development sector which include natural resource management, local governance, gender & women empowerment, climate change adaptation, social protection, rural livelihoods, child rights and child protection, institution development and strengthening etc.
His belief in giving people a chance to participate in framing policies impacting them has seen him engaged with Policy and Communication Projects. He has worked on promoting, brokering and communicating policy change by working closely with the governments, international organization, donors, NGOs and communities.
