Our eyes help us to see the beauty of the nature. But, these days there are a lot of people who are suffering from eye disorders such as cataracts, poor vision, glaucoma etc, predominantly in rural India. Low level of education and income in rural areas are two of the biggest reasons that force people to live a miserable life. This is why we organize free Eye Screening Camps in villages, slums, schools, residential societies and commercial areas to create awareness about primary eye care and provide various services like eye care education, eye check-up, distribution of free spectacles etc

We have recently organized free eye screening camps at the remote locations of Ghaziabad and Noida , like Village Hoshiarpur, Garhi, Nithari, Duhai, Saintali, Haldonoi , Basai , Chhalera and many more, and screened more than 10,000 patients and distributed more than 5000 spectacles for free. In eye screening camp, patients are registered and their visual acuity is tested. After that, the preliminary examination is done by an ophthalmologist; some patients are directed for some basic investigations, such as Schiotz tonometry, Lacrimal syringing, blood pressure recording and random urine sugar estimation. Some patients are directed for refraction, which is performed by the optometrists in a makeshift dark room and post to that patients are examined again by an ophthalmologist. The last step is counseling the patients who need surgery and fixing the date for surgery which is to be done at our foundation Centre in Loni, Ghaziabad.

We encourage people to make their kind contribution to “Sponsor a Camp” whereby the cost of organizing one camp is Rupees 25,000 only. This cost include cost of advertisement, cost of munadi (including recording, travelling, fuel, etc.), cost of banners, staff cost, or any other advertisement channel used by the Foundation to create awareness about the camp. The name of “Sponsor” or “Donor” will be clearly displayed on the banners and also they are welcomed to be at the Camp.
