Brief Profile:-

M K Trisal is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Marathon Electric India Limited – An affiliate of Regal Beloit Corporation, USA. Marathon India is the combination of two Indian Companies, GE Motors India Ltd & Alstom Industrial Products Ltd. (Erstwhile Motor business of Alstom Group in India. Our parent company Regal Beloit Corporation firstly acquired worldwide Motors business of GE in 2004, a part of which was Indian operations at Faridabad. Later, Regal acquired Alstom’s motors business in India in 2007, which has two plants located in Kolkata.

Marathon Electric India is the largest manufacturers & exporters for Electrical Motors in India with wide range from 25W, 230V to 5MW at 11kV. Marathon have been consistently exporting Electric Motors to USA, Middle East for over 15 years. Mr. Trisal, joined GE in December 1996 as Vice President of New Product Introduction (NPI) for GE Motors India. The following year, he became Vice President of Operations and in 1999, was appointed the President & CEO, GE Motors India. In the year 2000, Trisal took charge as Managing Director Sales, Asia Pacific operation for GE Motors & Controls. In 2002, Trisal, also simultaneously held CEO position for GE Power Controls India following its acquisition by GE from GEC Alsthom. Trisal’s previous work experience includes various positions including Divisional Manager with Escorts, and Associate Vice President – Turbine with Kirloskar Oil Engine Ltd.

Mr. Trisal, holds an Electrical Engineering degree from Thapar Institite of Engg. & Technology & has been awarded the coveted honor of being “Distinguished Alumnus” of the institute in the year 2002. He has extensive knowledge and experience in Industrial Power Generation business and has spearheaded and launched the concept of Cogeneration in Industrial Power Generation in India.
